To All Our Valued Customers

Well, the Spring sunshine is finally here (for some of us, anyway) and we’re looking forward to the industry beginning to pick up the pace ready for the upcoming months of warmer and drier weather. Seasonal change always heralds a change of emphasis for the Erosion Control industry, so we thought we’d share with you a short description of our participation in the massive and recently completed Hamilton Bypass project, a four-year-plus involvement that saw us showcasing pretty much our entire repertoire of products and services as the seasons rotated by.

Firstly, though, a quick reminder to all our Auckland Region customers that Wes Lawrence, Sales Manager Auckland Region, is on leave until Monday 17th October; so, if you have any inquiries that need immediate attention, please contact:

Hamilton Bypass  – A Project for All Seasons

The recently opened Hamilton Bypass has transformed the lives of people living in and around the vibrant and rapidly growing city of Hamilton. Erosion Control feels privileged to have been involved in this hugely complex undertaking over the four plus years it has been in development. We are proud of the way in which our technical expertise has been brought to bear, especially in those areas where sensitive environmental considerations have come into play.

In addition to Hydroseeding with Liquid Soil™ and Hay Mulching with HydroHay™ (check out the lovely green banks in our images) we also put into play two 20-foot chemical containers for water treatment and stream diversions, and three Silt Stoppers for cleaning soil from earthworks. And of course, we also deployed our trademark Floc Boxes™ with chemical supply. And what’s more, in line with our emphasis on sustainability and environmental protection, all reusable Floc Boxes™ were bought back at the end of the project for renovation and recycling back into use.
