To All our Valued Customers

What a disaster of a summer this is turning out to be! MetService is tracking a new tropical cyclone that could well be heading our way this coming weekend – and already sodden areas are, once again, in the firing line.

We at Erosion Control want to remind all our customers and friends that: WE ARE HERE FOR YOU, EVEN IF IT IS ONLY PROFESSIONAL ADVICE THAT YOU NEED, AND WE ARE WELL STOCKED TO HELP YOU PREPARE FOR THE NEXT DELUGE – SO PLEASE GET IN TOUCH.

Here are just a few ways in which our products, coupled with the know-how acquired from decades of experience in the Erosion Control industry, can help get you through the next set of storms:

  • EROSION SOCKS – These are great for helping to divert water away from sensitive / at risk areas. They are easily transported & manageable to move on site yourself. They can also be used to help protect storm drains. Full information in the brochure here.
  • STRAW WATTLES – These are made to order and can be used on slopes as SIDs (Slope intervention Devices) helping to slow water velocity and further trapping sediment. Again, you can check out our brochure here.
  • CONVENTIONAL HAY BALES – These can also be used to divert water away from areas it is not wanted, such as problem ground or slip-prone areas. They have the added benefit of preventing debris and rubbish accumulating at the bottom of slopes or ending up in waterways. Using Hay Bales is a simple but effective technique – and we have loads in stock.
  • VITAL STONEWALL POLYMER – This can either be applied as a standalone product for temporary stabilisation in works that are unsuitable for hay mulch application or used along with Hydroseed. The Hydroseed itself – which can be applied on just about any terrain by our comprehensive fleet of hydroseeders – provides longer term stabilisation. Please get in touch to discuss what solution best suits your project.

So please take care out there, stay safe, and let us know immediately if there is anything at all that we can help with.
